Experienced Directional Driller

We are looking for an experienced Directional Drilling Operator to join our growing utility construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating directional drilling equipment and knowledge of underground utility installation. A CDL is preferred and will be a strong asset.

Key Responsibilities:

• Must have experience to operate directional drill rigs and locate systems (Vermeer)

• Read and interpret utility maps, blueprints, and job specifications

• Perform underground utility installations using HDD equipment

• Ensure job site safety and compliance with all applicable regulations

• Maintain and inspect equipment for safe operation

• Collaborate with crews and supervisors to meet project deadlines

 Qualifications:

• Ability to work in a physically demanding outdoor environment

• Knowledge of utility locates and reading underground plans

• Safety-focused with a commitment to quality workmanship

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience operating directional drilling equipment (e.g., Vermeer, Ditch Witch)

• Strong understanding of underground utility construction (water, gas, electric, fiber, etc.)

• CDL (Preferred, Class A)

• Ability to read utility locates and construction drawings

• Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions

• Strong attention to safety and detail

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor as needed
